- Safest first cutTaper
- Only the sideburns and neckline get shorter, and the sides keep their length. It is the cleanest grow-out, so it is the easiest cut to live with.
- Low / mid / highFade
- The same blend as a taper, but it travels up the sides. Low starts just above the ear, mid around the temple, high near the top corner.
- Sharpest lookSkin (bald) fade
- The blend runs all the way down to bare skin at the bottom. It looks sharpest on day one and needs a touch-up soonest.
- Curved around the earBurst fade
- Fades in an arc around the ear and leaves the length in the back alone. Pairs well with a mullet or a longer back.
- Wavy and curly hairBlowout / textured top
- Weight taken out of the top so the hair moves and sits forward instead of sitting flat. Popular on waves and curls.
- Between full cutsLine-up (edge-up)
- The hairline and temples squared off with the trimmer. A quick refresh that stretches your last cut another week or two.

How do I book a haircut?

What are the prices?
Skin fade $25, taper or regular cut $20, fade with beard line-up $30, kids' cut (12 and under) $18, line-up or edge-up $12, and hair design or part add $5. Student-friendly rates.
What days and times are available?
Evenings on weekdays and open hours on weekends, so cuts fit around school and work.
What is the difference between a taper and a fade?
A taper only shortens the sideburns and neckline and leaves the length on the sides, so it grows out cleanly. A fade carries that same blend up the sides, and you choose how high it starts: low above the ear, mid at the temple, or high near the top corner. A skin fade takes the bottom all the way down to bare skin.
How often should I get a haircut?
A skin fade holds its shape for about two weeks, and a taper for three to four. If you want to stretch a cut, book a line-up in between to sharpen the hairline without taking off length.
Do you cut curly or wavy hair?
Yes. Curls, waves, and thick or coarse hair are all welcome, and Majeed cuts every hair type. For curly and wavy hair a blowout or textured top takes the weight out so the hair moves instead of sitting flat.
How long does an appointment take?
Most cuts take about 30 to 45 minutes. A fade with a beard line-up runs closer to an hour. Only one client is booked at a time, so there is no waiting around.
How do I pay?
Cash, Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. Online booking with card prepay is coming soon.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Just message as early as you can so the slot can go to someone else.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes, kids' cuts are welcome and Majeed is patient with younger clients. A parent is welcome to come along.
